Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

Back to school...

After being away from lecture notes, tutorials, tests, labs, and examinations for close to 6 months (because of internship), here I am back in school, facing the soon-to-be-trials of keeping awake in rooms and theatres that are unhumanly cold (perfect condition for both the body and mind to enter hibernating mode) and keeping up with my lectures and tutorials.

It usually starts out well in the beginning of the semester. But as the weeks go by, lecturers and tutors begin to stuff students with more and more information that were close to impossible to understand much less digest. Before you know it, these information find no place to reside in the limited spaces of your brains and start leaking out to who knows where. By the end of the day/week/semester/year, you realise that whatever you learnt weren't sufficient for you to complete your tutorials, much less enter the examination halls.

Went to school early about an hour earlier than scheduled, all prepared to attend the first laboratory session of the year, with covered shoes and a nervous heart (I just cannot find myself liking these sessions), to get my new sets of notes and manuals. But it turned out that there aren't any lab classes for me today... So, I had only one pathetic lecture for the whole day. My travelling time is way longer than the time I spent warming the seat of the lecture theatre.

NBA:

MANU GINOBILI IS BACK!! YAYY!! In fact he has already been back for 3 games. His playing time's increasing with each game. And it seems that his condition has been improving with each match he was involved in.
Also, the Spurs has won all 3 games since the last discouraging lost to Detroit Pistons on Christmas Day. =)

Here are the scores for these matches:

31st Dec 2005 W98-88 @ Denver Nuggets
29th Dec 2005 W111-84 vs New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets
27th Dec 2005 W99-86 vs Indiana Pacers
