This morning, I really did thought that today would be an unlucky day for me. Most Unlucky...
the first thing I had to deal with was CHILLI SAUCE. YES!! Sadly, Chilli Sauce! I entered the lift, as usual, to head for the 5th level tutorial rooms. Also nothing out of my normal routine, I would take one or two steps back, when the lift door closes, to lean against the wall. Never in my entire life would I suspect that anyone... ANYONE would decorate the lift wall with chilli sauce... so unfortunately for the unsuspecting innocent me, my poor bag got to have a taste of the orangy-red 'delicacy'. Still, I did not realize this till I was in the washroom. I had a shock out of my life. And note that this isn't any ordinary chilli sauce. Guess what it's MCDONALD's fAmOuS sPeCiAlly mAdE sAuce!!! The sauce that not only is different in colour from the 'normal' ones, but smells different too! It reeks of Garlic... Also note that this sauce, together with your fries or burgers tastes heavenly, but don't try them on your bags... you don't want your bag to smell of garlic wherever you go. And you certainly do not also want people to think that you just had mcdonald's for breakfast (they won't miss the characteristic chilli sauce smell) even if you didn't. especially when u didn't.
So, there goes my morning... I spent 15 minutes in the washroom trying to get myself off this mess. And when I thought it was finally over, I dropped my Heat Transfer testbook on the floor... Nothing wrong or unusual with that, 'cos dropping things seemed to be my forte. But it's heavy... about 2 kg, maybe more... Can't be less. I am almost certainly sure. And it's a hard-cover. And it's new! Now there goes my new book. With a big ugly dent at the top left hand corner of the cover. It really isn't important, but it just frustrates me when I thought of how foolish I was, letting my book drop, and most of all, I can't stand seeing the dent. Makes me irritated.
But! The happy thing came a few hours later. I got back my industrial attachment results!!! I GOT AN A+!!!!!!! YAY! It's equivalent to a distinction, you know! Heard from a few people that it might not be CORE and might not help in our degree. I emailed the vice-dean of MAE to enquire about it. It makes up 10 AUs, so hope that he would reply soon, with good news. =) This is my first distinction. Though it was not from studying (I doubt I can get a distinction from examinations... an A would already have been miracle...haha!). But really Thank God! Hee!!
