Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

Unofficial Weekend!!

My weekend, unofficially, starts tonight! I'm actually on a 4-day course that spreads across the 5-day work week. Today's the only day I need to report for work. The rest of the days on course meant being able to wake up slightly later and leave the course centre alot alot earlier, considering it is at so-much nearer-to-home-Tiong-Bahru.
Nevertheless, only a day at work does not add up to a relaxing day. It's been havoc. Had a total of 3 meetings in a day, my cellphone kind of keeps ringing, kept rushing up and down trying to get hold of this person and that person, this info and that info... And before I knew it, it's 9pm. Man, it's been a war-like day. Though nothing much has really been completed because of the madness today, it's kind of satisfying to get some issues settled (well, maybe not... 'cos new problems are sprouting kind of quick too). It's satisfying because of all the interaction and liasing between me and various parties. These are actually quite scary for me, but nonetheless fresh experiences no matter how many times I'd been through them. They bring motivation and adrenaline to the mundane paper cum desk work (drafting, report writing, designing, changing designs, re-designing... etc..). They create roller-coaster rides in my heart and mind, making me feel all kinds of emotions, ranging from the most negative to the most positive.
Well anyway, I'll treasure this unofficial long long weekend and use this time to revive and refresh myself thoroughly before going back to the sometimes-fun-sometimes-deadly warzone of work.

Tomorrow's dinner with dear dear tp celebrate our 8th month together.. heee... sooo excited. We had a wonderful weekend together last week. Went to watch 'Mama Mia'. Movie's OK. But the highlight's the music. Lotsa songs from ABBA. 'Dancing Queen' sounds superb in a crowd. Love 'Thank You for the Music' that came at the credits... 'Slipping through My Fingers' was so touching I was almost in tears.. haha. To know so many oldies mean only one thing. I'm not exactly very young anymore... =P hahaha..

Yawnz~ It's been a long day. Think I will be concussing real soon. Looking forward to tmr~* =)
