Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

mini-mini Oktoberfest

Dear dear and I were supposed to have our BBQ cum mini Oktoberfest last evening in concurrent with THE Oktoberfest, which I kind of didn't know of its existence till abt a month ago. But I'm down with a serious cough and a bad sore throat so we postponed it. Instead, we had a super relaxing day starting with a lazy breakfast cum newspaper browsing at LJS followed by a small shopping at cold storage to prepare for our own mini-mini Oktoberfest. We bought a few German Bratwurst sausages and dear dear bought lotsa beer (btw, I drank lotsa Orangina. Nope it's not a new brand of beer. It's THAT Orangina... you know the carbonated, pulpy orange juice? Yea... haha) We also bought the ingredients that we needed for whipping up my first dish of 'Pasta and Meatball Soup'. heee... putting my new cookbook into some use.
The process of preparing the dish was quite smooth. Dear dear helped me alot alot. BUT... I burnt my chopped up garlic, together with dear dear's pot, when I was trying to fry it. =( Other than that, the dish was a success! And yea... the kitchen hasn't been burnt down and is still standing. And mini-mini Oktoberfest was really fun and heartwarming.. hahaha...

We were planning to go to the beach to have yet another relaxing Sunday. But sadly the weather seems kind of cloudy, like it's gonna rain anytime. So... wad's its gonna be?

To be continued... or not. See my mood ya? haha
