Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

小黑

This is the first time I am blogging with our lappy. It's kind of fun, 'cos I'm comfortably lying on my bed, under the warmth of my comforter...hee.. Dear dear and I went seeking for accessories to go along with our new companion. We ended up with a spongy laptop cover and a wireless laser mouse (at a really good promotional price) which dear dear simply loved. It not only comes with both horizontal and vertical scroll function, it also has this additional button which can be configured to any functions we want. It's currently a magnifier . Not that I need it, 'cos I've got good eyes =P. Dear dear needs it though, probably to read my blog which has its font size set to extra extra small.. =)

Today's also the first time we brought our lappy out. We spent most of our evening after dinner cooped up at Pacific Coffee surfing the net and watching 'How I Met Your Mother' (laughing ourselves silly in the process... If there're any weird stares from people around us, it's good we didn't realise.. haha)

Despite my long blabbers on the ample excitement, fun, laughter, peace and joy we are having with our lappy (envious, anyone? muahahah!!!), the main motivation for this post is to blog about our longtime buddy, 小黑 aka Small Black aka the pretty black lady kitty living at the park near my place. There's something very different about Small Black that makes her stand out from the many kitties in the neighbourhood. First of all, her fur is so well-kept they look black yet shiny at the same time. Secondly, she's got adorably bright and intelligent looking eyes that seem to be conveying her thoughts to you. She's also got this long tail that wraps/drapes around anything she passes. Her tail never fail to curl itself around our legs everytime she cuddles up to us. In summary, Small Black's one beautiful elegant kitty. She is always at the same area, near the fitness corner next to the canal that I'm beginning to guess NEA has awarded her with a citizenship or PR of some sort. Dear dear and I never fail to stop by for a visit everytime we pass her place. She's really curious and playful. A single piece of leaf held in front of her can make her start to play catch with me. A soft 'meow' at her and you will find her walking towards you for a cuddle or some 'bua-ing' (ie. rubbing). Despite these, there's still an air of kitty proudness surrounding her that you simply cannot miss.

Recently, Small Black's injured at her right hind leg and can be seen to be walking with a limp. Furthermore, it seems like she's pregnant 'cos she looks a little larger and is behaving more lethargic than usual. She's also cuddling up to us more intensely that we felt she needed more care and so.... on Friday dear dear and I sneaked out of my house in the middle of the night with a LARGE leftover handmade fishball which my mum cooked for dinner and cycled back to the park to feed Small Black.. heee.. Our plan's also to get her a can or two of kitty food for christmas as a gift.. muahaha.....
