Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

On Leave ~*

I'm officially on leave since the 20th.. Only had to go back to work for a while yesterday and an even shorter while on the 31st. Not needing to go to work, the feeling, I would say, is absolutely fabulous... Muahahaha! The past few days were so happening I didn't have much time to sit down to blog. Maybe I had, but I couldn't get myself to write anything. (Plain laziness?) =P

Anyway, my mummy's back from Hong Kong (finally).. Missed her sooooo much. My bro and I had quite some fun while picking up my mum at the airport on Sunday.

On Monday, dear dear and I went headed down to Sentosa to visit the Dolphin Lagoon and the Underwater World. Weekdays at Sentosa is great. No crowds at the beaches, no long queues at the attractions...

And I got to touch a pink dolphin!!! Sooooooo happy.. and the dolphin's so adorable. She's a relatively young dolphin (6 years old) so she's still grey (pink dolphins usually start to turn pink after 15 to 20 years down the road). After about every 10 photos with the tourists, she gets bored and goes on strikes by swimming away from her trainer and everyone else. Hahaha.. yea.. who doesn't when they've gotta pose for so many photographs with a string of strangers? =)

Yesterday was Christmas' Eve. Dear dear and I spent a quiet evening away from the rowdy crowds in town at a small Pizza Hut restaurant at Siglap near my place. After that we had some drinks at Cafe Cartel while watching some videos on our lappy. Siglap's a nice place to be when you want to be out of the house, yet not get involved in the ever so crowded town area. No need to queue for 2 hours just to get a table for your meals, no need to speak over the crowd or reluctantly overhear the conversations of the people at the tables beside you because each table is placed like only 1/2 a person away from the next, and look, you get to stay at a table for almost 2 hours watching videos without having to feel guilty for taking up space on an eve of a public holiday even though you only ordered 2 drinks and a slice of cake.. hahaha.
