Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

Little things...

Life for most people is often simple and routine. We eat, we sleep, we go to work, we play... sometimes we can find things getting mundane. Getting tired of the work you do, getting tired of the place you stay, even getting tired of the people around you. But it is always the tiny little things in life we experience that keeps us going, keeps us smiling, and keeps us together. Tiny things that you see, tiny things that others do for you and you for others.... It is the little episodes that we have with people around us that pieces up our life like a jigsaw puzzle, whether or not we are the lead or the supporting cast or even a passerby in somebody else's episode.

I've more than once mentioned that I am running out of things to blog about. But it just occured to me that it isn't that I have nothing to write about. It isn't that life is so boring for me. It's just that I thought that the episodes in my life most of the time are too tiny, too miniscule to be worth writing. I realised I was wrong. So I am starting this little project of mine to, besides blogging the BIG events, take the effort to pen down as many of the sweet little things that keeps me smiling, and keeps me going even after a hard day's work or a lousy day. =)

Let me start off with the super expensive guay neng go (aka 鸡蛋糕 aka egg + flour = cake) dear dear bought for me. Once again, he was cheated by the beautiful packaging of japanese products. The product was labelled 'Milk Pudding Cake'. Each pastry was shaped like an egg and covered in lovely yellow cream and cutely wrapped. But the taste? guay neng go lor....  =D
