Year-End Trips~

I was so sad that my family will be going to Australia without me. I couldn't apply for so many days of leave and on top of that I can't just disappear from work for more than 3 weeks. I was so sad I'm going to miss the penguins that would be trodding by just outside our accomodation in Tasmania. I was sad that I'm going to miss the trip down to Great Ocean Road from Melbourne and of course the breath-taking view of another of God's wonderful creations. To sum up, I'm going to miss out on all the beauty of Australia and sadly, all the close encouters with the furry creatures that would usually get me glued to Animal Planet and going 'wow' and 'aww'.... And I was so sure the trip would be a terrific one as it is going to be the first trip with my family (well, at least a portion of it) since a long time, say 10 years? I've even started to research, planning the cost of air tickets and accomodation, where to go, what to do, etc... I was so looking forward to it............ =(  

But! Heh heh heh heh... all is not lost! Dear and I are starting to plan for a shorter trip... hee hee hee hee...
