De... De... Despicable Me....

It's FRIDAY!!! I've waited so long for this day. It was such a busy week I ended up OT-ing for 4 days, including today! So sad... Only left early on Wednesday to go jogging at NUS. The run, by the way was good. It was a really good mid-week break from all the mind boggling work.

You know the feeling of 没天没夜? That was all I felt for the whole week and probably how I will feel the coming week. And feeling nauseous from work? I had that too.... hahaa... Despite all these, I kind of enjoyed the week slightly. Yes, the project team had to rush. Yes, everyone is getting panicky. But hey, the purposefulness in each task, in each day gone by helped to build satisfaction, helped to assure us our job, our day-to-day work is meaningful. =)

Just to add on, darling's away in Malaysia and will only be back tmr evening. No plans for me so I'll just rot at home. I've contemplated going shopping by myself, but feared I'd end up burning a hole in my pocket. I'm starting (yes, just starting) to realise I tend to be over generous with myself when I am stressed or when I am bored. I would almost always end up splurging and buying things without much sensible thought or hesitation. So when I'm both stressed and bored, I think my credit cards should stay home. =)

Darling's booked tickets for 'Despicable Me' for Sunday! I'm kind of excited to see what those yellow potato like creatures actually are. =) Dear instead, felt they are like the white/ yellow/ black heads that we usually squeeze out from our facial pores. How apt... -.- Yeww.... gross~
