It's an ice-cream shop that ice-cream prepared on a -16 degree celsius frosted marble table and beautifully packaged and decorated parfait imported from Japan. The concept of the ice-cream prepared on a frozen marble top is not exactly new. There's actually one near my house within walking distance, hiding in a shophouse, behind some trees. It's really the location, the packaging and the advertising of the shop that makes crowds gather at 'Marvelous Cream' and not at the ulu-only-known-to-people-in-the-neighbourhood shop at my place. We bought a strawberry shortcake junior cup and a caramel parfait thing, which I can't remember the name for it. You can actually choose if you want your dessert in paper cups or waffle bowls, from which the bowls come in different toppings etc. etc. etc. Of course along with the latter is extra $$ you've got to pay. They taste really good and looked so pretty, especially the box for the caramel parfait.Aside from the yummy dessert that came across our path, trying to get started with some serious exercise was also one of our targets recently. About a week ago, my company held this blood pressure measuring and weight and height taking exercise. I realised.............................................................................................. I've put on 2++ Kg within the last 3 to 4 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I haven't exactly been eating more than usual, so guess it's the lack of solid exercise. Though I am still well within the healthy BMI thing... but I just can't take the +2++Kg fact. so saad.. =( Maybe I should start with some jogging... but anyone who knows me well enough knows I dread jogging. Maybe I should just get someone to play some intensive badminton/basketball with me to sweat it out, just like in the past.. haha. Then I could do some cycling to East Coast Park too... Thinking of the sea, clouds, sky & sun makes me want to smile.. hee hee =3
Oh. Just found out that the caramel parfait thing's called 'European Caramel Custard'.
I'm looking for this:
