Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

The Angels and Horribles

You would never know why some people are able to turn their back on you suddenly, not talking or greeting or even smiling to you anymore. You would never know what you did or what rumours she heard that made such a drastic, disgusting change.
How can it even happen? This place is nice and simple, or so I thought. Apparently not. Probably I’ve been spoken badly of without my notice. It’s really sad.

Still, it is always the people who do know me that never fail to bring simple happiness to my life. A simple lunch with colleagues who know not to judge a person by mere gossips, an indulgent dinner with my beloved who knows the words to touch my heart and awkwardly but sweetly does things that imprints sweetest memories into the deepest corners of my heart on a boring and uneventful Monday…

All these are the only things I promised myself to think of.
Begone from my life, all the awful people!
Begone, all rumour-mongers who find joy boasting and gossiping! Begone!
