Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

Lomos and Blogs

Two things I just discovered and can’t stop playing with:
I downloaded Windows Live Writer, which made blogging so much so much simpler and user-friendly! No more typing in lengthy htmls just to get the effects I want on my posts, no more hassle in formatting my blogs!

I signed up in this photo-art website, and started by adding lomo effect to a couple of my photographs.. After I start, I just couldn’t stop! I just love the faded, high saturation, bluish-reddish effects that lomography provides.

All along, I was envious of how some of my friends manage to capture their photos with such special vintage effect. I tried to alter the settings of my camera, adjusting the saturation, the exposure, the contrast… just to get the effect but alas! I have yet to succeed.

Haha… I’ve found the program that is able to help me cheat my way around…
The effect was amateur-ish, yet was able to capture the most outstanding details of a very plain photograph. Colours were not vibrant, textures were grainy, yet lomography lifted the pictures’ most special quality – Simplicity! A simple smile, a simple laughter, a simple action… all these are accented in pictures with lomo effects!
