Ponders

Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -- Isaiah 40:28-31

Really that Bad Huh?

When I told my colleagues and friends that I had headache for 10 straight days, their first reaction is ‘Go see a doctor. This is serious’… But when I went to the doctor’s the earliest appointment to the neurologist is end September. Apparently the doctor didn’t think my headache was serious enough. The previous GP I went didn’t think so too.. Haha…

Anyway, here I am lying in bed because I too got kind of worried about this persistent pain, that I took a day off to the polyclinic near my place for 2nd opinion. Head still hurt.

But at least, out of all the sucky things that happened recently, I had a nice and simple lunch with my mum. How long has it been since I last had lunch with my mum and brother (bro ate fruit cornflakes with warm chocolate milk though… how yucky can it get?? –.-), on a working weekday? I mean, working really does sap away everything huh? Your time, your energy, your time with loved ones, your relationship with loved ones… etc.

Anyway, back to our lunch, my mum and I had porridge with chicken and scallops, and full of mummy’s love, and most importantly a salted duck’s egg to share! =)
Salted duck’s egg with porridge, though super unhealthy, is the bestest combination ever. Plus it is kind of a comfort food and good way to re-live childhood for me. And having mummy and bro to lunch together with me tops all things to ultimate combo level.. Lol!
