The Navs gathered to celebrate mine and Yanting's birthday. It's a bit early for mine, but YingYing is going to France tomorrow for a 9-day business trip. Afterwhich, herself, HweeMing, WeiYee and 2 other Navs will be leaving for Beijing for mission trip.
Anyway, we spent our time at Fort Canning Park. Had a small picnic thing. So touched... MiaoHar, though she was not able to come for the picnic, baked two pans of brownies for us. Elin came too... she climbed the hill all the way up to Raffles Terrace to look for us even though her knee isn't completely healed from her operation. Had a great time chatting and getting to know the Navs a bit better.
Woah! Every living creature on Fort Canning seemed to be much bigger and stranger than the ones we usually see. The trees are huge, so are their leaves. Flowers and fruits of the trees looked... hmm... how should I put it... different... Even the ants are larger, fiercer, and more efficient than usual. A small accidental drop of sauce resulted in a whole colony of ants to swarm out of their nests... Feeling itchy all over, now that I thought about it.
Anyway, rushed back home in the afternoon for another practise session with Jenny. Hmm.. I should say we are getting better with our coordination. There're only some fine-tuning here and there left to work on. HweeMing said she wants to hear us play our pieces... woah... nervous.. haha
