My throat's gotten so swollen I feel like I'm swallowing my tongue whenever I do the swallowing action. The doc gave me a whole bagful of medicine and among these is a cough syrup that excels in inducing drowsiness. It's been doing that for almost 24 hours. Took my medicine at around 10 this morning, had an early lunch, surfed the net for a while, watched 1/2 an episode of House M.D. and was knocked out for several hours. Woke up to bathe, take my medicine, watch another 1/2 an episode of House M.D. and was knocked out several more hours. Getting kind of tired of sleeping, despite it being my best past-time..

There's some pros and cons of taking MC. The pros being the obvious that I can stay home for a good long rest. Cons being there's really tons of stuff to be done and lying around at home makes me feel kind of guilt-stricken. Also, everyone else's at work except me.. It gets kind of boring after a little while...

Anyway, dear dear and I are thinking of getting a notebook. We have in mind the cool pearly white Toshiba Portege M800. However, it's kind of expensive, costing around 1,800 bucks. Reviews of the notebook also brought up it's poor battery life ~ max batt life of only 3 hours... to me that's a real real minus point. But then again it looks really good..
