It's 7 days into the year 2010. It's been full 2.5 years since I've stepped into the working world. The past couple of years have seen me through dramatical changes to my life. I've done things (still alot more to go) that I've always dreamt of doing and I could say that they have been fulfilling. But I've always wanted to continue to enrich myself even after graduation. I've wanted to pick up a second instrument, probably a string. Viola or violin would be nice. I'd wanted to further my studies, pick up a new language, read as many books as I can... This is just a tip of an iceberg of all the things I wanted to do, but didn't go about accomplishing any.
Since a new year has come, a year with very nice digits, I'm setting myself back onto the path which I laid down 2 years ago. I'll be applying for Masters in Science for a start. The registration for the intake in August this year has not even start and I'm already so excited I've chosen the course I want to enrol into, and even all the modules that I want to pick up. Being away from school for over 2 years, I believe, would have a great impact on my efficiency in studying. But nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to school! But first, I must enrol and get a place.... Results of the application will only be known in May. That's really long~ =(
I've also begun to self-learn Japanese together with dear dear. After going to Japan (again, for me), we love the place so much and realising our inadequacy from the 比手画脚 experience we had, we've decided to learn the beautiful language before returning to conquer the place!! =D It's nice to learn together, quizzing, reminding and teasing each other along the way. =)
Besides the above, I've also decided to go for lasik surgery to get rid of my glasses. Hee~ Wearing too much contact lenses is beginning to worry me on the state of my eyes, that I think it would be better for me to get down to doing the surgery.
The studying and the surgery will drain off quite a sum of money. Sigh, but what to do? Want to study and look pretty, there's definitely got to be a price to pay... Haiz. So guess I've gotta control my spending~~ (Though I just spent a WHOLE lot last weekend buying a new watch and lotsa new clothes. ARghhH!! Haha...) And there's going to be the instalments for the laptop that my brother and I bought for daddy, and.. and.. and........ 钱不够用啊!!! =S
Haha.. anywayz, things will turn out fine, I believe. Tomorrow's Friday! Dear dear and I are going for movies - with an 'S', 'cos we're gonna watch 2 back-to-back movies! Muahahaha!
