It's Mid-Autumn Festival (MAF) today! Unlike previous years, today just seems like an ordinary day for a couple of reasons. One of them's that Debbie isn't here. It's weekend so she's out with her parents. No one play lantern with mee...... =( So instead, I am kind of rotting at home, and hence this post. Another reason's 'cos I've already eaten so much mooncake it feels like MAF's over... Haha
Anyway, had a super funny friday evening... Dear dear and I went to take our first neoprint together.. Think this neoprint thing has evolved so tremendously since the fever started like 10 years ago (1st and last time that I took), we totally cannot get it. We feel so swa-koo staring at the machine trying to figure out what to do.. It was super funny and tiring trying to pose for different shots within the given few seconds.. And oh. There was also this decorating part where we doodle on our photos.. awwww... so fun..... But gotta admit, it's really kind of expensive.. I don't remember one round of shots to cost 11 bucks ten years ago.. Oh.. we are so growing old.....
Was at cityspace @ Swissotel The Stamford. This is my first time being there (me swa-koo... so there's lotsa firsts.. hahaha). It's a lounge/bar at the 70th floor of the 72-story building. Totally mesmerized by the stunning view (can see dear dear's house from there).. The ambience's so so sooo romantic. I had Singapore Sling (yummy.. kind of pineapple-ly) and dear dear had Tequilla (tasted 2 itsy-bitsy tiny sips.. yew.... Too alcohol-ly for me). There was this jazz pianist playing some lovely music. And the first song she sang was 'Rainbow Connection'!! To admit it, I've only heard the Kermit the Frog version and I love it totally. But her version was nice too. She got a really clean and deep voice, so makes it really suitable for the jazzy kind of atmosphere. And she sang 'Hey Jude' too. But not the rock version of course...
And silly me.. I burnt my hand slightly a while ago trying to take my lunch out from the oven.. ouchyyy...
Happy MAF baby..Glad u enjoyed yourself.guess what? ME too, haha. Actually it's your company that makes the everything beautiful..loves..
